I was one of the youngest members of staff which led to me getting all the "rubbish" shifts. All weekend every weekend and all the late shifts during the week. The others had families at home so I didn't mind most of the time, but it still wound me up. Through the shifts I was also given the tedious jobs to do because no one else would do it, I didn't mind because it kept me busy, but it was never appreciated by anyone, even though the management had recognised that I did it all.

Generally pays low end wages and salaries: minimum wage for customer service assitants, retail staff etc. but low salaries for supervisors and first line managers as well. Company is mainly run from the accountancy books, does not like to invest more than necessary. Rationalising is taken to the extreme sometimes, resulting in nonsense processes and a lot of time wasting to actually get the work done.
