Pros

At least in my project I can say there was good balance of work and personal life. While Onsite, good facilities were provided - Private flat for each one of us, and not so bad per diems, transportation, Internet etc. Good I would say. Variable is usually paid well. Last year it was 100%. Variable part is less - Only 7% which is good.

Cons

Only 20 Holidays in a Year which is less. Salary Increment for all, whether you have recently joined or are a experienced employee, is a joke Communication from Management, well that doesn't exist at all. I got to know about my senior manager after months. No HR - YES. I didn't have a HR assigned. You cannot go to HR for any issue. HR are only for making policies perhaps not to interact with employees. This was very strange thing for me. Variable paid once a year, and paid after 3 months in March, which should be paid in Jan, so if you leave comp midway you miss the Variable component for those many months. In few companies they are paid every 6 months. I am comparing with that. Senior Managers think of themselves as the owner of the company and most of them don't even know how to talk respectfully to employee and are rude.I said most, Yes there are good ones as well. Recruitment process for freshers is a joke. There is no standard process and anyone can take interview, so if you have a not so good experience giving interview in Capgemini, don't blame yourself, this also means it may be very easy for you to get into at times or ridiculously difficult at others.
