      A solid place to work

      Pros

      Compensation is satisfactory at the company. There is decent opportunities for growth within the company. CGI Group is quite stable from an industry perspective and is fairly well respected.

      Cons

      CGI group is primarily known within Canada and not as well recognized in the United States and other countries. CGI's bonus structure is not as good as other companies. It is based primarily on profit sharing, which does not provide as high bonuses, especially during hard economic times. For new grads, CGI does not provide a significant amount of training as some other companies.

      Pros

      Pay and benefits-the benefits are wonderful and the coworkers are great prople to work with. Employee morale is at an all time high. I feel that I have been given recognition that was deserved and fair. The job is flexible and is very convenient for me. I have a manager who does not . I This is the first job that i truly feel i belong and am a part of something great., I thnk that the company is pretty great.

      Cons

      It's hard to find any issues-though there are issues in every company-nobody's perfect. I think that the communication lines could stand to improve between departments.

      Pros

      The best reason to work fro CGI group is being able to put the name "CGI" in your CV later on. The reputation of the company is good so it could help upper your value to other employers.

      Cons

      The major downside would be the low salary compared to market Lower advancement opportunities
