Pros

like it because, i started off just as a crew member. and with the crew members, and manangers I met, they tought me alot and with that, ii have went my way up the ladder as now i am going in training to become a shift mananger. At first, i was not good with money or peolpe skills, i sucked at both, i was fresh out of high school, and once i started my job as a crew member. Burger king changed me and I became a new person, and its been three years, and I am a now an important part of the burger king company in my store, and i am well known and well respected in my career path. I want to follow my fellow managers and get into thier shoes. I am proud of how far I've have gotten with burger king. my social skills and money skills hav eimporeved alotl. burger king defently changed mylife and im glad they did. :)

Cons

Pros

If you have no skills, then this is an ok to work. You also have a good chance of being a shift manager if you're a good employee. Sometimes you can get free meals for good work and stuff like that. I don't know what else to tell you other than this is a good job for a high school student who can't find any other kind of work

Cons

The pay stinks and it is a very mundane job. It's also not a very glamorous job working fast food. You also have to work with a bunh of morons usually because that's the kind of people that this type of job attracts. No offense to anyone who works fast food.

Pros

It's okay for a first job as it was fairly easy to get hired as there isn't exactly a line up of people wanting to work at Burger King. It wasn't stressful and everyone was able to joke around especially when the store wasn't busy which was often.

Cons

Getting paid minimum wage but I guess you can't expect much more for taking someones order. The drive-thru audio equipment was very old and didn't work well which was both frustrating for myself and the customer. Performance by head office was measured mainly by drive thru times but Burger King's assembly process made times impossible to achieve without the product being made it advance despite them advertising that they did not do this. Several years later looking back at this job and in my final year of completing a Business degree it amazes me how inefficient this company was especially from an operations perspective. If only Burger King could look at their competitors, specifically McDonald's they could likely assemble their product in half the time.
