      Aggressive schedule, aggressively short on staffing

      Pros

      Nice stock performance Good place to work for if you are lucky and got a good manager and project.

      Cons

      Difficult to move around in the organization. Management gives confusing guidelines. Some level of micro management still happening. Corporate is starting to squeeze bottom line. Good for stock, bad for employees.

      Pros

      they pay well for interns, but certain depts (wont be specific... its kind of a standard in this line of work anyway) can be a little tedious. they have a good gym, basketball court, general on site facilities. cutting edge state of the art equipment to work with -- i appreciated this alot when i was an intern.

      job security. not much else.

      1. Co-workers are competent. 2. A hard-charging culture and can-do attitude 3. A good track record in gaining market share from behind

      Cons

      1. Ad hoc management style. Most managers are technical persons with limited managerial training, and continue to micro-manage technical decision-making. Employees have limited sense of project or task ownership 2. Limited information flow between managers and employees 3. Company culture lacks enough appreciation for work/life balance. 4. Limited opportunity for continued development, especially for senior engineers. There is a company-wide seminar series, but conference attendance is generally discouraged.
