      People are genuine and friendly The pace of work is reasonable, unlike big tech companies

      Cons

      Salary is 30% lower than the market average Hours are beyond 40hrs/wk Large project scope High learning curve Inconvenient hours for meetings around the globe 2x/wk You may not get a bonus at all You may be offered Employee Stock Purchase Plan instead of bonus (buy stock at a discount vs. a bonus) Access to modern technology and applications is limited (AI is restricted) The work you do is highly regulated, under NDA, and you may not be able to discuss it when seeking future employment elsewhere without taking legal risk There's not anything around near the Seattle office. Need to take lunch in-office (bring your own, or visit the cafeteria).

      Great company… when things are good

      Pros

      They are great to work for when things are good. Benefits are fantastic and PTO is generous.

      Cons

      When things are bad (ie: bad press, stocks fall), the company scrambles to fix things in the worst way: layoffs for corporate employees who had no hand in the cause of the bad press.
