Good products, many talented people, good innovation

Cons

Many layers, no empowerment, lots of rounds of unnecessary reviews. Micromanagement. Leadership conduct extremely detailed reviews, delays progress, makes decisions with other departments without involving the project owner, and blames the bottom layer when bad things happen.

Pros

Solid company culture. Don't overwork you. Better PTO than average (starting 23 days/year including sick time). Health benefits are great. Pay is ok. Good company mission.

Cons

Growth within role is basically just time based not merit. Bare minimum work is rewarded the same as above and beyond. Flexibility depends on manager. Hybrid is fake with only one remote day/week allowed. Less pay than other engineering roles.
