Excellent time at BD for the first few years, but the company is now in a transition and the environment is at risk.

Very interesting, socially beneficial products, bright people, pleasant working conditions, flexible work schedules.

Cons

Can be bureaucratic, not-invented-here attitude, recent top management change threatens the positive aspects of the company, director level and higher people are poor communicators.

-Good community service / steward. BD's humanitarian efforts are phenomenal. -Competitive benefit package for all. Good bonus and long-term incentive plans for higher level salaried people. -Good culture and values. -Most facilities have excellent working conditions.

Cons

-Big promotion opportunities are all in New Jersey (expensive to live & raise a family). -Working to improve innovation spend and efforts, but behind competition at this point.
