Nice place to work if you want a long stable career with a company that doesn't change to new technologies often
Pros
Great for persons who want to have a long term career with one company. The environment is slow pace and doesn't change often. The turn over rate is pretty low. The company itself is large and the office here in San Jose employees over 2k people. Cafeteria serviceis provide for breakfast and lunch. BD sponsers a lot of community events and the employees have team activities during lunchtime or after work hours. Greate benefits.
Cons
Because BD as a low turn over rate, many of the employees are much older than normally found in a tech company. The software development department is relatively small compared to the size of the company; roughly 30+ developers. Company (like many others) have outsource some development to India. Pay is probably below Silicon average.
