Pros

Great place to get exposed to a wide variety of scenarios and get your foot in the door.

Cons

You get trained as you go along. Very little communication between IT departments so requesting info to solve issues is like pulling teeth.

Pros

I enjoy the industry and the location. There are many good people who I enjoy working with, and now that BD is in charge, there are likely many good things in store for the company.

Cons

Because of BD's recent purchase of Carefusion, there have been many changes in management which have led to reorganizations and enough layoffs to make a decent number of people extra concerned about their future. Also, political correctness and diversity seem to be higher values than talent and ability at times in their corporate culture as I have watched serious candidates who would make excellent leaders and add great value get passed up for the more "diverse" choice.

Good sick and vacation benefits after 10 years. Nice holiday break during Christmas/ New Years

Cons

Oblivious management, no ones voice is valid in dept or company, no growth or advancement unless your in New Jersey.
