Pros
Having over 30yrs under my belt in Field Service divided among 4 companies after reading the Field Service reviews for BD here I felt I had to set the record straight. It is a big company and actively acquiring new product lines all the time. We are dominate in the product line I service and have a mature well structured system in both equipment and business model. Plenty of OT if you want and a good cluster of FST's around you is essential to maintain work life balance. Base Salary is a little low but the OT brings total up nicely. OT is not that big a burden because BD still bases it on a 8 hour day and not a 40hr week so anything that happens outside 8-5 is OT.
Cons
Lots of management layers and not a lot of focused communication on the intricacies the enterprise system that your product contributes to.
