Low salaries. Yearly Layoffs make collaboration very difficult. BD model is all about outsourcing and cost cutting. Lack of Growth opportunities unless you have a friend in upper management, Very slow moving company. Not innovative. Questionable quality control measures in products.

BD is an Ageist company that treats anyone over a certain age as worthless. I was in a meeting last year where 30 + individuals were laid off. We were told we would receive notice of our termination dates. After the paperwork was received in the mail and we began to discuss our dates it was obvious that the people with earlier termination dates were the ones they were going to re hire in the restructure. But they posted the jobs and let people waste their time applying when they had already decided who they were keeping. I was given a very lame reason for rejection. That is an example of the kind of smoke and mirrors used by BD. I have never heard a company talk so much of 'transparency' and be so full of deceit and lies.
