      Not a good place for professionals

      Pros

      Domestic travel opportunities, if you're into this. Not much international travel options though. Maybe if you're just fresh out college and have zero experience then you'll be OK here for a year or so, but if you're already a pro -- this is not the place for you.

      Cons

      If you're a seasoned professional, then everything except domestic travel opportunities is very bad. Low quality professionals, no corporate culture whatsoever, and so, so many idiots -- unbelievable where they find so many of them.

      Good technical people Good training Backing of 2 industry giants

      Avanade is not a company it is a body shop for Accenture Accenture look down on Avanade and tell all Avanade people what to do Avanade leadership have no ambition other than to survive and are total yes men to Accenture Their leadership have made a lot of money from being yes men to Accenture and they think that makes them good. Promotion is done behind closed doors and is rarely based on merit but more on secret deals and meeting boardroom quotas

      Pros

      I worked with some really great people. Great training opportunities.

      Cons

      Expect to work 50+ hours a week as a base not including travel time. Once all is said and done, this job will be your life. If you're early in your career and want to be immersed in your career this is a great job for you. If you are experienced and want to grow in other areas of your life, this job is not for you. I've also seen relationships and marriages severely strained by the demands of projects and travel.
