Pros

You'll become sharp by all the grinding away of your morale Monday morning.

Cons

This is absolutely the worst place I have ever worked in my life. Everything about it was horrible. Disorganized, mismanaged, pointless micromanaging, absolutely no structure in place. They talk down on you, make you feel horrible, give you unreachable expectations while working you to death.

Pros

I seriously cannot think of anything positive to say. There is so much wrong with this company it's astounding. It's as if they're actively TRYING to tank their entire business.

Cons

Oh where to begin? I suppose you could say that the principle problem with this company is that it has no idea how to manage its financials. This company continues to charge its clients millions of dollars less than it costs them to perform those client services, and continues to be puzzled why it's not profitable. Now, an intelligent company would recognize that there's a disconnect and would either perform an internal audit or hire a third party to audit them to help figure out where they were losing money, but Atos doesn't do that. Instead, they lay off employees, cancel capital investment (on end of life equipment), defer payment of invoices for services already rendered (resulting in vendors not responding to the site due to non-payment) and to top it all off they continue to set quarterly "financial goals" that are light years beyond what they could ever achieve even if they were charging the appropriate amounts to their clients. Somehow, Atos continues to be surprised that while they're charging their clients about 50% of what they should be, that they somehow cannot generate huge profits each quarter. Astoundingly, they are surprised about this occurrence every single quarter. It's been that way since they took over Xerox in July of 2015. When global management is asked how to rectify this, the answer is essentially "do more with less". We're well past the point of trimming any fat in the work force . We're past fat, we're past muscle, we're into bone, and they're steadily hacking away at the bone. We've suffered MAJOR Data Center outages that were DIRECTLY due to these "cost savings" initiatives. Each outage ALSO costs the company millions in SLA fines (as well as eroding confidence in our ability to provide services) so this is just a vicious cycle.

Pros

Free coffee machine, even if it is the lower tier

Cons

- No real carrier, the management thinks 18 years needed to be a Senior - Old an outdated development environment, you have to work with VB6 and VB.NET 2.0 (you can forget MVC here) - Constant negative feedback, completely destroys your self-confidence, so you do not have to worry about getting hired elsewhere - Management sees you as a slave, period
