Pros

Work with the smartest and hardest-working people in the industry, on missions with global reach and impact. Decisions are thoroughly vetted and value-added through rigorous review. Everyone in the company truly works by the Leadership Principles. Every day I have worked here so far it had felt like people are pushing in the same direction to make things better: it is a really exciting environment to be working in!

Cons

You will not be the smartest person in the room any more. So you had better be the hardest working when you get here, ready to learn and contribute quickly. Decisions are ruthlessly data-driven and thoroughly vetted, and that includes performance. Loafers and drifters are rapidly managed out, and that includes some who are simply burned out, so look after your wellbeing and stay physically fit and mentally healthy.
