Pros

Some projects have work from home so you can work from home depending on the project you have.

Cons

The domain i was assigned was having very strong top down culture and it did not give any flexibility for me to change domain or try some different role in a project. Did not have any freedom to choose projects, if assigned I need to go there.

Pros

If your manager is good you will be able to manage hybrid work well and independence in your tasks while learning and picking opportunities for yourself They can champion for you to make case for your progression

Cons

Increasingly poor appraisals with no just cause If your manager is not supportive others can't help much. Some have just been sitting on the position because of tenure and are too satisfied (lazy) to make any bold (reasonable) moves even for your progression case Micro monitoring of work in office was implemented while having less seating capacity which meant some days you sit in the cafeteria. Utter nonsense
