Some of the best reasons to work at Abbott Labs is the variability in the sites around the US. Depending on the success rate of the division such as hematology and vascular, the environmental pace ranges a lot.

Cons

When interning for them through a contract position (via Manpower), they did not treat interns like me as they did with the interns hired through HQ. I feel like it was more difficult to grow is I was an intern through Manpower.

good opportunity to learn from peers and managers. vast business with many areas for career exploration.

Cons

Work is somewhat siloed with limited opportunity to grow unless you are close friend on manager. Would consider other career avenues before going with this company again
