if you want to be busy with work, AMO is the place for you. there's no time for idling around, the day goes by pretty fast. plenty of opportunities to gain experience.

Cons

inadequate resources, short-staffed, fast turnover of employees, politics gets in the way of doing one's work

Pros

Vascular division has good availability of resources and work life balance at Menlo Park facility is very good. You do have to complete tasks under tight deadlines but its time demands are cyclic.

Cons

I guess this goes for all big companies in health care space. There is a long paper trail that needs to go with all the design work, which can be frustrating at times.
