Pros

There is a lot of good opportunity to learn and apply new technology. The role I am in is somewhat flexible. I can work from home on occasion. In this economy the ability to have a stable empoyer / job is nice. The health bennifits are good, costs are always going up though. There are a lot of good people to work with on a dialy basis. There are no travel requirments in my current position.

Cons

It takes forever to get a parking pass. We should be able to work from home more often, not just occasionally. If you start in with a low salary it is difficult to get it adjusted up. Yearly salary adjustments have been weak in recent years. They seem to be cutting back on many things, education, stock options, etc ...

Pros

It looks good on a resume because it's a very strong sales position. The training is great. You actually have a lot of phone at training which is paid in full. They choose to higher from within.

Cons

The base salary is very low compared to the cost of living. You would need to have a roommate, stay with parents, or have alot money saved before you start this job. They said it is an open door policy but you will have a hard time if you start to suggest or complain. They have a very high turnover rate. This job is very very stressful.
