Pros

Some flexibility from management on location. Diverse workforce. Some managers are helpful, good mentors, interested in coaching their subordinates through the difficulties of working for AT&T. Others are in it for themselves and don't care WHAT happens as long as they are placating the managers above them.

Cons

Employees are worked to death. Off-shore contractors have manipulated management to the point of paralysis. One of my outstanding employees did the work of two persons in a level above her for two years and has yet to receive the title OR the pay of the previous worker. At one point I had more FTE working directly for me than any other manager and yet that wasn't recognized.

Pros

The name of the company. It sounds good to tell someone that you are working for AT&T. It may be good if you are not working in technical support. Most of the money is made in sales and provisioning orders.

Cons

Attendance policy. Income not distributed well throughout the company/
