Pros

The Transmission industry is very dynamic, so you will always find a position to transition. Good salaries up to management positions

Cons

HR programs for career advancement do not exist. You have to work your own way if you want to move forward with your career.

Poor leadership throughout

Pros

Reasonable salary for midlevel associates; good benefits for now

Cons

Awful, Awful management. Too many layers; too many chiefs that make decisions without understanding the reprucussions. People that should have retired 25 years ago are allowed to hang around and contribute nothing. Alstom is so fragmented that the employees do not know who to call within their own organization. Can only imagine how confused the customers/industry must be.
