Cons

lack of career development programs the company is not pro-active in organizing networking events not family friendly environment. people who get ahead are the ones willing to put in countless hours for the company. low tuition reimbursement package.

Pros

It is a good experience and you can learn about different organizations and you can deep into analysis. I guess it depends on what divison your in.

Cons

They have a super slow infromation processing. Their are so many applications you need to know about and filing. You will later find that other Aig locations use different guidelines. They dont have a strong training program. Its not the most happy go lucky enviroment you will find. It brings alot of stress and most people are stressed out which adds to the blah enviroment.

Pros

It's a good Company to start with although training is minimal. If you can survive at AIG you can work anywhere. The workload is strenuous, but repetition translates into knowledge and experience.

Cons

It's too large. It's so large it's like working for a large branch of government. Management won't pay you unless you've been with the Company for 15+ years. If you are originally from NY don't plan on working at home office.
