Pros
It's a very big company. There were a significant number of social events planned on an annual basis - this eased any adjustment and enhanced integration into the company.
Cons
Poor communication at all levels. Aggressive, top-down management style. Extremely political environment, with no acknowledgement/appreciation of people who get the job done but don't play the game.
