Pros

Freedom to Set Your Own Hours.

Cons

They give you no leads. It's up to you to bring friends, family and/or acquaintences to quickly sell insurance policies to. You MIGHT get lucky and inherit a former salesperson's book of business, but most are riddled with shady sales, poor service and/or horrific problems that the former salesperson was pressured into by quotas. Their claim to fame is "innovative" insurance policies that really aren't at all innovative. Customers see right through the come-ons.
