Pros

Great P&L managers, 5 stars had the non profit center management been at all of use.

Cons

Too many cost center managers of little skill have ear of senior management. Far too many & unnecessary initiatives, these distract employees from production & profit matters. Too little use of technical experienced staff in trtaining new staff.

Pros

If you get into the right work unit with leadership that is CONNECTED at the top (either through relations or relationships) then you can have a career for 25 years.

Cons

If you get into the wrong work unit where your leadership is not CONNECTED you will probably have 15 bosses in a 5 year period. This is my experience. Very unorganized and chaotic. Archaic systems that don't speak to each other. You also will probably have bosses and bosses of bosses that know half of what you know but be put in these positions due to 'knowing someone'. Very hard to get ahead unless you know someone and you are willing to work 24/7 365 days.
