Pros

good pay, and good Japan colleagues at the time before we all go laid off....

Cons

When they laid off almost everyone in infrastructure and IT in 2021, upper management failed to consider the Japanese language dependency as well as cultural nuances. So the outsourcing to ACN was quite the disaster in Japan. Recently, after laying off almost everyone, recently they are now trying to hire local bilingual IT staff again. Overly focused on short-term results. For example, "kick the can down the road" approach: Example #1: delay on key projects just to make numbers for that fiscal quarter and end up paying more at the end overall due to extended support (i.e. Microsoft) Example #2: laying off all project members related to #1 above and then trying to hire them back after the quarter finished and afterwards trying to shove everything through the door.
