Dassault Systèmes Simulia Corp. (doing business as SIMULIA) helps mechanical engineers simulate product design tests to save time and money in the lab. Its engineering analysis software simulates the physical response of structures and solid bodies to load, temperature, contact, impact, and other stresses before a physical prototype is built. Abaqus, its finite element analysis (FEA) software suite, is widely used in the aerospace, automotive, consumer goods, electronics, and manufacturing industries, among other fields. The company also provides related engineering, legal, technical consulting, and training services. The subsidiary of Dassault Systèmes has operations in about 30 countries around the world.
