The problem is this technician does not speak good English and you can only ask him one question to help you figure out the problem. What question do you ask and why?
How do you manage a project / program with teams across different geographies, time zones, languages & cultures? I expected this question and it was asked more than once. This is a complex question as it calls into ones various skills: communication, organizational, physical and mental stamina and schedule flexibility.
Based on experience what you did
The most surprising technical question was around the XML elements and rules for processing. This wasn't relevant to the role I was interviewing. It has been too long to remember the details.
