There really wasn't a "difficult" or "unexpected" question. She was just brief and informal and asked about experience and said that everything can be taught so you could have no experience and be hired. Great first job but be sure to keep looking for others.
I was just simply asked about my management and sales experience. Since I have over 10 years of both, I was hired on the spot. I gave an example or 2 of a difficult customer and how they were handled. I also discussed issues with employees, staffing, and employee relations.
