Don't know what interviewer wanted to know Interview was taken by product manager and he said me to develop Excel using reactjs. He said that we don't want to code we just want to discuss. I discussed my approach and then I said it will be good if i code then it will be more clear for judge, he agreed to that. I started doing then he started telling to put additional functionality as well. He was knowing only few concepts and he expected me to make clone of Excel like adding row column, increasing the width and height of columns, selecting cells and merging them . I did everything and at last he gave me my review "that he expected me to talk more about the concept then jumping in coding ". He expected me to just tell about my approach and he didn't wanted me to show it. I didn't understood that in tech interview how much will I tell about my approach. He took 2 hours interview and this was his input. I request the company that please put some tech people for interview he was only knowing little bit things and after doing everything in interview he didn't like the output he wanted me to talk about tech😂. Atleast don't waste others time by doing this. First they scheduled interview then they rescheduled it and second time also they did the same thing. After showing the desired output and telling everything if I don't get selected then I don't know they wanted a person who just have theoretically knowledge.
