Unix file manipulation questions- greps, basically, and how to identify which shell you are in. There is also the brain teaser where you have the thevinin and norton equivalent circuits, each in a different black box. Since they are electrically equivalent when you probe for voltage or current, how do you tell them apart?

Shown adaptability? Been involved in a trial or testing and your role played in it? Deviated away from a standard process? Look for things within the job description they could ask competency based questions on
the phone screen asked some behavioral questions like motivation, strengths and weakness and also some basic algorithms. The onsite interview was focused more on your resume.

I was given a cantilever beam and asked to calculate shear force and bending moment. Further I was asked to draw sfd and bmd. I ruined it and was shifted to HR.
