Simply just a video test and a literacy test
I was asked to edit a few short texts, so they could get an idea of my editing style and assess my editing capability.
Fairly typical questions: Why do you think you're right for the role, do you think you can balance this with other commitments, what ideas do you have for the section?
Are you familiar using video software such as Premiere Pro and After Effects?
My rates. They asked me to provide them with a linguistic test (which they will send to you).

Are you willing to sign the contract?
Edit the document, paying attention to: spelling, grammar, phrasing, etc. Overall, this was a very easy test, although personal issues with "phrasing" and word order could complicate the result. They also asked me to self-report the length of time to edit the document. They may be screening for editors who work at a relatively fast rate, maybe 1000-2000 words / hr.
The on line test is a multiple choice exercise about things that you will be asked to do as an editor.
