No personal questions were asked, no one-to-one interview questions either, they informed us that this was part of the next step and would apply to successful candidates.

Tell us about yourself and your motivation of wanting to work here

Have you ever been to one of our stores? What makes you interested in retail? Does any of you speak any Japanese? (Because of a Japanese term used in the interview)

Mostly situational questions... start by asking you to tell him or her about yourself, what are you favorite stores, why UNIQLO, why the Manager Candidate program, a time when you were placed in a new situation and how you handled it, biggest learning experience etc.

Group assessment about a poorly performing store. The case was about a store performing badly because of the staff not following the standards, resulting in a dirty store, unsatisfied customers and high employee turnover.
