Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They know you are a fresh graduate so the check your behaviour and believe me they are capable and the experienced by doing that.
I applied online. I interviewed at Weatherford (Calgary, AB) in Jun 2017
Interview
The interview process was extensive and handled extremely unprofessionally. The only opportunity I had was a phone screen but had required numerous requests. They asked for 5 references to complete a lengthy questionnaire and require you to purchase a drivers abstract when you are not at the stage of an in person interview. I asked for a follow up of feedback on the phone interview but they could not even provide that and also legal documents that they make references complete. I figured it was fair to ask if people have to go out of their way to pay and provide time. If this is how weatherford
stands for and handles the recruitment process, I'm glad to not be a part of it. There should at least be a compensation if the only chance was a phone interview

Question 1
Very simple questions. It makes it seem like it just tests your ability of speak English.
I applied online. I interviewed at Weatherford (Edmonton, AB) in Jul 2017
Interview
Phone screening, wait 2 weeks, reference check, wait 2 more week, two day interview invite to assessment center. Day 1: tour, info abt company, no stress. Day 2: 1 on 1 interview, I went through 3, then a single group case study. Breakfast and lunch given. Very few technical questions asked. Mostly behavior questions. 20 people in the crew, competing for 4 positions. Easy process but imho they r looking for derrick hand/ field labor.. no talk of any design or real engineering task.. basically looking for a new graduate to do field technician's job. No real future training plan. Field/office rotation talk complete BS. Looks like a marketing stunt. Experience gained will not help advance career as an engineer. Only for desperate people looking for work. I would recommend you do your research and ask alot of questions.

Day 1: Tour, introduce company and values, relaxed environment. Day 2: 1 on 1 interview, 3 interviews per person, one group case study and presentation. Breakfast and lunch given. Very few technical questions asked. Mostly behavior questions. 20 people invited, competing for 4 positions.
Easy process and interviews, but seems like they just want labor. No real opportunity for real engineering work. As the other reviewer said, it seems like a marketing stunt. If your interested in a real career as an engineer then stay away from this company. Do your due diligence and research the company.
Trying to develop the image of a green company, but there not doing anything that isn't required by law or saves them money.
People from out of town got gift cards. Drug test done if you accept offer.
