Went through all three rounds quickly and was asked to come in "to present an in-person presentation & have lunch after" so TBH, I was expecting an offer that day. With no real guidance on what that meant, I designed a PowerPoint of my experience and how it can help Valeo. HR tells me they are trying to hire more women. Looking back this was a red flag. At interview, Marketing Manager was new, seemed surprised by the presentation, and said "I don't know anything about cars so the marketing specialist needs to" The HR was impressed by me and said "We will definitely be calling you back!" & left early. MM made it clear from then forward that a person who was of a different gender than I was, was preferred, and when I asked about work-life balance, it became so awkward and silent in the room. I never even got a rejection email, I got the super impersonal Indeed "they have moved on..." email TWO MONTHS LATER!
