I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Uber (Amsterdam) in Dec 2020
Interview
Got invited through a referral.
First was a 15-min recruiter screen. She was nice and respectful and was very forward with the recruiting process and conditions of the job (salary, benefits).
Online assessment was a 3-hour CodeSignal with 4 Leetcode-Medium tasks relatively popular with a Uber-specific twist to them.
Interview day was 3 rounds, starting with a greeting and informal chat by a different recruiter:
1 hour with a hiring manager which was mostly like a conversation with of course a focus on the candidate.
45-60 minutes on Coding assignment with 2 interviewers working on a problem of implementing to "Break text message into chunks". I ran out of time with a rough solution that we couldn't get to finish but interviewers indicated I was close and along the way also mentioned there's several ways to implement this general problem.
45-60 minutes with other set of 2 interviewers on an DS&A problem "Minesweeper score generator" which was similar to the "Number of islands" problem. Interviewers explained the problem very clearly in case candidate is not familiar with Minesweeper and were very thorough with all questions I brought up.
Ended with a sendoff by a recruiter who 2 hours later gave me the news and offer.
Overall process left me very satisfied and the recruiting team supported me with my preferences for date/time of interviews.

I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Uber
Interview
Two technical coding interviews over phone about 2 weeks apart. Made it to last round, was pretty much able to get all the questions but no offer. Interviewers were pretty nice, usually ask you to implement unoptimized version and then optimized version

Question 1
Maximum number of passengers a car can pick up given start and end times of of rides.
The overall interview process is good. There are 2 round of phone interview. Each interview has 2 easy/medium coding questions. After 2 interviews I waited for 1 month to get the feedback.
