I applied online. I interviewed at Uber (Toronto, ON)
Interview
The interview consisted of a standard phone screen conducted by HR, followed by an online analytics test involving a couple spreadsheets. You need to manipulate data, conduct basic analysis, and do some thinking about implications. Combination of multiple choice and short answer for a demonstration of your written skills. Overall, not too difficult if you can work quickly and manage time. Next was a video interview that was part behavioral and part case based. Following that, I was given a set of data for a take-home case to solve a real problem. Then I was invited to present to the team, as well as video or in person interviews with senior members of the team. One tip: be yourself and tailor your responses to the needs of the role. They are quick reads and too sharp to allow you to pretend to be someone you're not, and too focused on what they want to bother with fluff that isn't relevant to the role.

Question 1
Why do you want to work here (obvious but so crucial to know)
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Uber (Ciudad de Mexico) in Mar 2016
Interview
You have an analytical test to pass (mainly pivot tables, problem solving exercises), with some redaction questions at the end. 2 hours in total, online test. It takes a lot of time to complete - be prepared before launching the test or you might most likely run out of time.
If you pass the filter, you have a phone interview with HR to align on role, previous work situation etc, etc. Then you start 1 or 2 interviews on Zoom (video call software used in Uber). If you succeed, you pass to onsite interviews.
After the analytical test, I got 8 different interviews involving 11 persons in total.
Most of them were from Operations too, but from different position level (some General Managers were involved too).
It honestly takes a lot of time (about 1.5 months in total) to get through the process, but the experience is awesome as you meet great persons and have very interesting chats during the process - except the total time to get until the end of process, I had an excellent experience as a candidate.

* Background questions: what were you doing before, highlight experiences of your CV, etc
* Cultural fit culture: understand how your personality would match Uber's cultural value and mindset
* Motivation to change from your work to Uber. Why this position? Why Uber?
*Questions related to logic:
- how you determine pricing of a city you are going to launch?
- similar questions. it's all about to evaluate your thinking process
*Initiatives you would launch if you were in Uber
