I applied online. I interviewed at Uber (New York, NY) in Jan 2024
Interview
The Local Operations Manager role was within the Uber Eats business vertical.
Overall the process was reasonably fast-moving with no room for unnecessary delays. I applied online on their career site. The process consisted of 1. Recruiter Phone screen (15-20 mins) 2. Hiring manager interview (30-mins) 3. Case Study with Team (apparently also 30-mins).
I did not clear the hiring manager interview. It was mostly due to my lack of preparation. The entire process took about 2 weeks from the initial phone screen for me until it ended. An ideal recruitment timeline for this role would be around 3-4 weeks if offered the job.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Uber (Madrid) in Feb 2020
Interview
1. Phone screening with HR
2. Online test ( related to the business & data analytics)
3. Interview with Hiring Manager
4. Business Case to prepare during a few weeks
5. Business Case Pannel : 3 more interviews to discuss the case and evaluate competencies ( business acumen, communication, stakeholder management…)
