I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Uber (San Francisco, CA) in Mar 2024
Interview
A recruiter reached out to me to initiate interest for the role. The first initial call was pleasant and straight forward. The recruiter provided insights to how the interview process would go and what to expect for the role. Unfortunately, I had a cringey experience on the next call with one of the leaders who is involved with the hiring process. Not clear if this person would be my direct contact, but they were extremely unpleasant to interact with. They were dry, asked me questions that clearly had answers that only an actual employee would know because I'm not educated yet with their internal processes or structure, and didn't answer my questions correctly. I left the interview feeling disappointed and knew instantly that it was a waste of my time. I wouldn't even accept moving to the next round if they offered it to me. But I can guarantee that I'm going to get a generic "we've decided not to move forward" email from the recruiter soon. With that poor experience, I'm going to delete my UberEats app and order with a competitor.

Question 1
Get ready ready to be asked ONLY hypothetical questions that you aren't exactly sure what the answer is, because you naturally don't understand their sales process.

Online assessment, recruiter screening, HM behavioral round, panel interview with case study. Pretty standard process
Uber has one of the best recruiting processes I've ever seen. Recruiter was very fast at following up (either EOW or next day) and I heard they even give feedback if u don't make it to the next round
I applied online. I interviewed at Uber (New York, NY)
Interview
After I applied, I was invited to do an assessment. Following that, I had a recruiter interview, then a behavioral interview, and then a panel with a project and an additional behavioral interview.
