I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at UPS (South Seattle, WA)
Interview
The interview involved four interviewers: two in person, one on webcam, and one on speaker phone. This was conducted in the conference room at a UPS pickup/drop-off location.
Questions:
- List and describe applicable work experience and certifications.
- How do you troubleshoot a network connection problem?
- Tell us about a time you went above and beyond for a customer.
- Tell us about a time you had to meet a desired outcome without the help of people who report to you.
- Tell us about a time you had to handle a difficult customer.
The interview was cut short. There may have been more questions. I had to bow out. I remember the job posting asking that the applicant have a good driving record and that there would be some travel involved. What I did not remember reading, and what the interviewer explained to me, was that it was pretty much 100% travel. I thought the position was in Seattle. It was really everywhere in WA and then some. I may have to be asked to drive out of state for projects.

Question 1
The about going above and beyond. And the one about accomplishing a task without the help of people who report to me. That could be anyone - no one has ever reported to me. It was a weird question, I have paraphrased it here, and I still may not understand it.
