I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Thales (Singapour) in May 2022
Interview
round 1: HR and Head of engineering interview. HR was really intimidating and very confronting. The whole process was scary.
Round 2: Engineers interview
round 3: interview assignment (take home) it was overly time-consuming and painful. Interviewers were thorough in their comments.
Overly competitive process and I highly not recommend applying for it as it is a big hit or miss for the amount of effort that you put in, unlike leetcoding. Furthermore, when asking the HR for the feedback to give some AFIs, HR was pretty nasty in their comments stating that they assessed holistically and not giving feedback on where I can improve in my assignment as the interviewers promised providing the comments.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
1. Behavioural questions were really normal. If you read interview handbooks, you should know how to answer them.
2. Take home assignment was QRcode upload and reader.
They expected me to use docker without saying so. Stating that it's business decision.
