I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Tesla (Salt Lake City, UT) in Nov 2018
Interview
The process consisted of basic interviews. I liked the people I worked with and they were very friendly. I would recommend this company for interviewing another time. Please interview here.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Tesla (Fremont, CA)
Interview
I had a great interview experience! I was informed of next steps and always updated when new info was available.
The process involved a phone screen with the recruiter, then a phone interview with the hiring manager and then onsite with the team. The interview process moved quickly ~ about a week from initial phone interview to onsite. Everything went smooth and am very grateful with how organized the process was. Everyone I encountered was friendly and HR was always willing to answer any questions.

Question 1
Why Tesla? Why are you leaving your current role? What do you know about this position? Tell me about a time you handled a difficult situation? Questions around how I can adapt to change and how to handle it as well as how to handle many projects simultaneously.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Tesla
Interview
First phone interview, and then got invited for an on site. The whole process was unprofessional.
The questions were all really simple. But one interviewer was chewing gum the whole time and clearly did not have much understanding about the area I was asked. And the hiring manager had no idea who I was and did not bother to read my resume, huh, I guess it was understandable since he looked really tired. But he then went on and on about his management style... Uh, no, thank you. The other people were really nice though.
Clearly I was not a good fit, probably that's why the recruiter didn't even send out a courtesy email, even though I just spent a lot of time there.
