I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Target (Rockford, IL) in Nov 2017
Interview
This was during seasonal time so the interview process happened very quickly. I applied online and got a call the next day to set up an interview. Showed up, waited a few minutes and was taken to the back. I was asked about 7 questions, was told I did well and was interviewed by another person right after for another round of questions(Target does back to back interviews). After that I was told they were offering me the position and we set up an orientation date.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
Tell me about a time you went above and beyond the expectations set of you?
This story can answer several questions:
Tell me about a time you worked cross-functionally.
Tell me about a communication challenge.
Tell me about a difficult stakeholder.
Tell me about solving a problem.
Tell me about managing expectations.
The interview was super easy. You just have to know a bit about what you're trying to do there and be lucky with their hiring timing. It also helps if you are nice to them overall.
I applied online. I interviewed at Target (Dallas, TX) in May 2026
Interview
The interview process was over the phone. Basically going over the details you inputted on the job application. We went over the hours I could work and if whether or not I had other things going on because it was a part time job.
