I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at TP (Bangor, Northern Ireland) in May 2014
Interview
Initial phone interview, generic questions - quite simple if you've practiced the most common job interview questions.
Then, a group interview with spelling test, followed by an individual interview. It was quite friendly and I didn't feel like they were trying to catch me out.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at TP (Fairborn, OH) in Jan 2013
Interview
The first interviewer was strict and not very friendly. I told her I had been fired from a job because I was in the hospital and she stated they would have done the same thing. I found out that they actually had a better system for sick days then what she had stated, and she had to leave after my interview because she didn't feel well..... The second interviewer was very nice, she was a supervisor there and she really appreciated my job experience and seemed to value me as a person. I ended up taking the job and most everyone there was very nice and liked me. I believe the first interviewer I had is no longer doing interviews there.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Lots of testing to get in, mostly on the computer. But it was fairly easy if you have good computer/typing skills. which only requires about 40 wpm. The hardest part was a mock call you have to do to show them how you would speak with customers, they record you for it. This was the worst part of my interview and was when the first interviewer seemed very frustrated with me, although I was doing what she asked. If you make it seem like you care about the customer (interviewer) during mock call, have a good customer service type voice, and stay calm it isn't too bad.
