It felt pretty casual, it was virtual. This was back in 2023. We just talked about culture and I made points about how I liked to improve people's mood and it's nice that I can do that with just coffee and I guess that clicked. I've been rejected before immediately and that was in person around 2019, I asked about insurance and she tapped on her ipad and I got a buzz on my phone which was the rejection email lol. I got this interview because I guess they already knew me from the previous interview or they referenced that?
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked me why I wanted to work in coffee after my previous corporate work.
It was short and to the point. They asked my availability and past experience working in the food industry. Since I didn’t have any, I felt it was going to prevent me from getting the job.
Usual standard process of interviewing, we went over my experience and knowledge of working as barista in coffee shops and restaurants in my previous jobs. Highly recommend as a great place to work at !!
Thank you for taking the time to write your feedback. We appreciate your input and are happy to hear that you've enjoyed your overall partner experience here at Starbucks!
The interview was not too bad, I had to wait a bit before getting called for my interview due to some mishaps on their end but that was really the only thing that was negative. It was fine. They called back pretty quickly
