I recently applied for a role at Sanofi and was invited to a phone screen, which was scheduled almost two weeks in advance. However, just two days before the interview, I received an email canceling it because the hiring manager decided to prioritize other candidates.
While I understand that hiring needs evolve, canceling at the last minute after confirming an interview shows a lack of consideration for candidates’ time and effort. A more professional approach would have been to assess applications thoroughly before scheduling interviews.
I expected a more structured and respectful recruitment process from a company of Sanofi’s reputation. Unfortunately, this experience left a negative impression, making me question how candidates (and potentially employees) are valued.
