Sanofi Content Manager interview questions

I had an initial interview with the N+1 in English (for an English-speaking position in Paris), which went well. Immediately after, I had another interview, in French, with a recruiter. The position was to be done in English, so I was wondering why the interview was in French. I didn't hear back from them for weeks. I had to send more than one follow-up email to ever get a response. It was an odd recruitment process to say the least.
