It was informal for the initial call , followed by a chat with HR if they like you. Then you would move to the next round if you align with their salary. They weren't flexible so I didn't continue.
I applied on the website and was selected the next day as a potential candidate. The recruiter sent a request to do a one-way video interview, where I encountered technical issues. The e-mail was from a do-not-reply e-mail address, so I scoured the careers page as well as the video page to attempt to locate a real e-mail address to reach out to.
Sent two e-mails explaining that while there were issues with the one-way video website (separate from Roche's platform), I would be happy to participate in a phone screen. I received no contact for a period of three weeks, then received a template rejection e-mail from another do-not-reply e-mail address stating that they were unable to contact me after "numerous attempts". I assure you there are no e-mails nor phone calls that occurred during this time.
Even worse, the position I applied for is being heavily promoted on LinkedIn indicating they're having a hard time finding candidates for the role.
I highly recommend actually reaching out to candidates who are interested in your positions with a phone call rather than a blanket request to complete a dehumanizing one-way video task through a third-party platform.
