I applied through college or university. I interviewed at PwC (San Jose, CA) in Oct 2020
Interview
A 90 minute two part interview. First with a partner, then with a manager usually. The interview for the Tax department does not include any cases, and is largely behavioral.

What do you know about Transfer Pricing?
Tell me about yourself and how you would benefit this firm
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at PwC (San Diego, CA) in Jan 2020
Interview
The first-round interview was at a job fair, with a skype follow up several weeks later. My interviews were extremely friendly and conversational, but keep in mind that you do need to be selling yourself throughout. Interviewers were happy to share their experiences at PwC and seemed genuine.
Got the interview through AEA JOE. Met with two partners from two different offices. They asked me to introduce myself and what I have done during past few years, but I only mentioned my research topic. It was the first formal interview I ever experienced, and I screwed it up.. Didn't make it to the next(final) round.
