The process consisted of an online/phone interview, a take home assignment, and an in person interview day with several rounds.
Most interviewers were friendly and professional, although there were a few exceptions where the interaction felt unnecessarily unfriendly. Overall the interview structure itself was fairly standard.
One major concern is compensation. The offered salary appeared significantly below market levels for comparable roles, which makes it difficult to understand how the position competes for strong candidates.
Unfortunately, the HR interaction was the weakest part of the process. The communication felt unprofessional and at times dismissive. During the interview there were several comments that came across as unnecessarily rude, which made the experience uncomfortable and left a negative impression of the recruiting process.
